The Base-ball Match

The Cricket Field was crowded with ladies and gentlemen last Saturday afternoon, who when to witness

 the Base-ball match, between the USS “Tallapoosa” and “Richmond”, Besides the offiecers present, the

 crews of both ships were also represented by a large contingent of Blue Jackets. Time was called 

beforme the game could be played out the score being in favor of the “Richmond” who knocked up 26 

against the 22 of the “Tallapoosa”

El partido de béisbol

El Campo de Cricket se llenó de damas y caballeros la tarde del pasado sábado, quienes al presenciar el partido de Béisbol, entre el USS “Tallapoosa” y el “Richmond”, además de los oficiales presentes, las tripulaciones de ambos barcos también estuvieron representadas por un nutrido contingente de Chaquetas Azules. Se acabó el tiempo antes de que se pudiera jugar el partido siendo el marcador a favor del “Richmond” que anotó 26 contra los 22 del “Tallapoosa”
